◎ Background/History: http://steins-gate.wikia.com/wiki/Suzuha_Amane#Synopsis
◎ Is the character a hacker and/or do they have a sixth-sense? Neither
◎ Personality:

At first glance, Suzuha would probably be described as a happy and carefree girl but that is merely a mask which she wears to try and survive within the year 2010. That is not to say that isn't a part of her true personality however but it is more that she tries her best not to show anyone anything more than that so that she can easily get along with the people around her before she completes her reason for being here and moves onto her true objective. Because of this, I describe her as secretive as well as a little closed off (at least at first), she doesn't want to confide in the lab members because she worries that if she gets too close to them that it will hurt more when she has to leave.

In a way, while we see her as a overly friendly person getting on with everyone, she's actually really lonely as she's not from this time and doesn't really know anyone. I would think that she's honestly holding in a lot of sadness since she can't ever return to her own time. The first time we see this more vulnerable side to her is when she doesn't meet her father like she expected to, this is also the first time she confides in the lab members about something to do with her mission, even if she doesn't explain everything at this point. Another time that we see a change in the way she acts is when it is to do with something that she is interested in, we see a more focused Suzuha who is willing to do anything to help in regards to whatever the interesting thing is, however this can cause problems like causing her to slack off work to pay attention to whatever the thing is (like her bicycle) but it shows that she does have passion towards things besides her mission. The latter makes her seem lazy, though that is only in regards to her work in the CRT workshop but we do know that she isn't lazy in regards to what she considers important.

She begins to make some important connections to people in the timeline; Okabe, Nae as well as her boss Yuugo and her future Dad. While the only ones that she opens up to about the truth are the lab members, she does feel a closeness to Nae almost like they are best friends or even sisters and with her boss, she's a little scared of him but she's pleased that she gave her a job and she does her best to work or at least she does her best when he is around! These people never see her angry however there is one person that Suzuha doesn't act friendly towards at all in the beginning and that is Makise Kurisu. Whenever we see the two of them together, we can feel the one-sided tension and anger that Suzuha holds for her, to the point that the two have a big fight later on in the visual novel. This anger however is only based on what happens in her future and once she realises what kind of person Kurisu actually is, she can see that she must have been forced into it somehow.

There is one weird quirk she has, and that is she uses some outdated phrases to describe things. We see this when she is talking to Kurisu about how she is revered as the mother of time machines and Suzuha has to explain that the word she used, “Apotheosized”, means revered. We also see this in the way that she greets people, it's a more rough type of speaking, perhaps picked up when she was part of the resistance in the future.

When we find out the truth about Suzuha, we can see that she's a brave girl who has suffered horrible losses in her timeline such as the death of her father and colleagues yet she keeps on going, pushing herself to try hard and make her future better for everyone even if it won't be the future she left behind. This is why she stresses how important it is to Okabe to leap once more to save Kurisu, open the Steins Gate and more or less save the world.

◎ Powers/Abilities:

Strength in unarmed combat and bicycling seem to be her two biggest strengths.

We often see her using her bicycle to get to places in scenes, or see it outside of the Braun Workshop implying that she rides to work every day.

Unarmed strength however, we see a little less of but when the other lab members are held up in the lab by the Rounders, Suzuha comes in to save the day, holding them off to allow the others to escape. During this time, we also see her holding a gun and hear gunshots. This shows that she also has some skill in using a gun, but most of the rounders were taken down by her physical strength.

She also shows that she has some knowledge in regards to time travel and her particular time machine (more in how it rides rather than how to fix it!).
◎ Weapons & Other Special Inventory: Bicycle and Mobile Phone

CEREALIA-Specific

◎ Element: Air would be the element that she would relate to the most, as when she needs to be somewhere, she kind of appears out of nowhere almost as if she is as fast as the wind but also she can disappear as fast as she comes.
◎ Sense: Touch would be her most honed sense, it is really what she relies on the most to get from place to place via bicycle or to get herself or others out of danger.
◎ Seven Character Traits: (friendly, brave, focused) (secretive, opinionated, lonely) | unrelenting

[Suzuha's face appears on the screen, she waves rather enthusiastically though you notice that her other hand is in a sling. You can briefly see a glimpse of her bicycle in the background, but it doesn't look like it is in the best of wear.]

Yo! I seem to have had a bit of an accident with my bike... [She realizes that maybe her friends might be a bit worried about her]

No don't worry!

I'm fine! I just injured my left hand a little but I'm more concerned about my bike, it's my main mode of transport and I just can't get used to not having it around.

[She paused while she takes the cerevice closer to the bicycle to show the full force of what had happened. It looks like it is in a bit of a mess, but it could still be fixable]

Is there anyone that could fix it? I'm not good with those kinds of things.

◎ Third-Person Sample:

It all happened in a flash, Suzuha had agreed to try and help a NPC with what seemed like a simple quest, get rid of the rubbish on the sand and try and find a missing pendant but right now, neither of these things are on her mind as she's trying to run for her life.

A giant almost kraken-like creature has risen from the water and is spitting out balls of ink towards the terrified girl after she had accidentally thrown a small pebble in the sea and it had landed on its head. She had not idea what to do, she's never had to face something like this in her life before. All she could think of was to run to save herself.

The sweat is rolling down her face, her heartbeat is racing and her chest hurts but she couldn't stop. She was desperately looking around trying to find something, anything to hit it with but fear begins to paint her face as she couldn't see anything around her.

'Why isn't there anything around me?!?', she thought to herself, screaming at herself on the inside, 'I didn't think I would have any troubles on this quest. It seemed so simple...'

Stupidly, she decides to stop and try to talk to the kraken. She didn't really know why she did it, but somewhere in the back of her mind she had decided it was a good idea.

“Leave me alone!”, She screams, her voice is faltering but she is doing her best to try act confident “I didn't mean to hurt you. I swear.”

The kraken moves closer, but Suzuha holds her ground even though she is shaken in fear. She's trying to sweep the tears from her eyes, trying to look intimidating but she honestly didn't think she wanted to start to run again.

'… Is this the end?', she wondered, 'I'm sorry everyone. I can't keep my promise.'

The kraken growls, swinging its tentacles in the air, about to spit more ink. Suzuha braces herself, her eyes affixed on the face of the kraken while her mind wanders elsewhere to something, anything better.

“You know”, she manages to get those words out, though she knew that her voice was trembling, but she'd continue, “I just wanted to help someone... just like they helped me. I don't know what I would have done without them.”

If it wasn't for the lab members, she would have never found her future father, she would have never got to know him properly.  A happy thought appeared in her mind, it was of her with her mother sitting on the grass in the park back when her dad was still alive but he was busy at the time. It was one of the best days of her life, though it was a muddy memory due to how young she was at the time.

She gives a small smile, tears staining her cheeks, her body still shaking from fear but a determined look in her eyes. At least if this was the end, she was going to die with happy thoughts.
